DESCRIPTION: Under the contemporary section series, Tobi created Explosion-X (ABS) artwork and with no reference to the real world this masterpiece got banged up on canvas in rhythms of red, yellow, blue, green, black-purple, indigo and with other strange-like colorful particles from our cosmos. Their clash vigorously with each other creates a vibration tension, yet the simple composition has a strange, lyrical quality. This proves Tobi's roots also lie in Abstract Expressionism, evident in this loose and free brushwork.
